MINI SPLITS
Understanding Ductless HVAC Systems
A ductless HVAC system, also known as a ductless mini-split or ductless multi-split, is an HVAC system that can regulate the temperature in your home without the need for ducts. Unlike traditional HVAC systems, ductless HVAC systems are designed to cool or heat individual spaces or rooms, rather than the entire home.
Efficiently Control Your Home Temperature with a Ductless Heat Pump
A ductless heat pump, also known as a mini-split heat pump, provides an effective and convenient solution for homeowners who don't have ductwork. Unlike central air conditioning systems that distribute air through ducts and vents, ductless systems are installed directly in the room that requires heating or cooling.
The most basic ductless heat pumps are single-zone mini split heat pumps, consisting of one indoor unit and one outdoor unit. However, a multi-split ductless system can be created by adding up to five indoor units. This allows you to regulate the temperature of up to five spaces without using any ducts. The mini split unit is a flexible and simple solution to control indoor temperatures.
